​​The trial will be run from St George's University of London, this is also the lead centre for the physiotherapy treatment. There are 12 other sites taking part in this trial, you can see them here.

The trial started recruitment at the lead site in October 2018, and was due to continue until April 2020.  Recruitment was temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.

The trial was granted a 22-month extension in April 2021, following the affects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Recruitment re-opened at sites from mid-July 2021 until January 2022. 

 

We now aim to complete the trial by October 2023.
